History
2021: Security officials opened a criminal case against LLC Yekaterinburg-2000
On the night of February 28 to March 1, 2021, representatives of law enforcement agencies conducted the first investigative actions in the framework of a criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 199 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Tax evasion"), initiated against the company "Yekaterinburg-2000" (operator mobile communication "Motive").
According to law enforcement agencies, a criminal case was opened in mid-February. The company is charged with committing a number of fictitious transactions in 2015-2017 in order to underestimate the taxable base by more than 2.6 billion rubles with counterparties with signs of one-day firms, Octagon said.
Investigative actions took place in the company's office, as well as at the place of residence of some of its employees. Among the defendants in the case is Alexei Artemasov, director of Yekaterinburg-2000. However, according to security officials, the main goal is to identify facts indicating the participation in the illegal scheme of the founder of Motive Vitaly Kochetkov. At the same time, other assets of the businessman are being checked: Bogdanovichi meat processing plant, Bogdanovichi city dairy plant and other enterprises.[1]
2016
Voice over 4G networks using VoLTE
In February 2016, the operator won at the auction of Roskomnadzor an additional LTE resource of the 2570-2595 MHz range in five regions of the Ural Federal District at once - in the Sverdlovsk, Kurgan and Tyumen regions, in Ugra and Yamal.
The company received licenses, and with them the legal right to transmit "voice" over 4G networks using VoLTE technology (Voice over LTE). While CSFB (Circuit-Switched Fallback) technology is used to make voice calls. At the same time, the phone changes from 4G to 2G during the conversation, and then switches back. Networks of all Russian operators work in the same way.
3,189 GSM base stations and 1,867 LTE base stations installed
At the beginning of 2016, the operator had 3,189 GSM base stations and 1,867 LTE base stations. Motive provides communication in the territory of 1,594 settlements, where 96% of the population of the Sverdlovsk and Kurgan regions, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug live. The operator's licensed territory extends from the southern borders of Russia to the shores of the Arctic Ocean. Its area is 1.5 million km ², which is comparable to the area of 4 Germany or 11 Greece. High-speed mobile Internet 4G from can use 91% of the population of the licensed territory "Motive," which is 6.5 million inhabitants.
The operator has 273 own offices and 1,718 sales points. On average, the company's contact center specialists process about 15,000 calls per day. According to the reports, the FCR (First Call Resolution) indicator - the solution to the problem after the first call - is 92-94%.
The subscriber base of Motiva has almost 2.5 million subscribers. On average, 1,500 new ones are connected to the network every day. In the entire history of the company, the Ural operator issued 353 tariffs.
In February 2016, at the auction of Roskomnadzor, the Ural operator won additional frequencies for the development of the 4G network. This new LTE resource will strengthen its position in the "old" regions - to improve the quality of communication and increase the speed of mobile 4G Internet by at least 2 times, as well as enter the market of the Tyumen region. In the future, the operator plans a gradual transition to VoLTE (Voice over LTE).
2015: The LTE network of the operator "Motive" covered 86% of the population of 4 regions in the Urals
Since the fall of 2015, the Motive telecom operator has completed the installation LTE of -equipment in all areas planned for 2015 in the Sverdlovsk and Kurgan regions, Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Districts, so the penetration rate in 4GInternet these regions was 86%, according to the operator's press release.
The 4G network, the construction of which Motive began in December 2013, was deployed in 285 cities and towns of the operator's licensed territory - from the Yamal Arctic in the north to the border with Kazakhstan in the south. In almost 150 settlements, the fourth-generation network is in test mode and will be put into commercial operation in the near future.
According to the law, for seven years, Motive must cover all cities and towns with more than 2 thousand people with a 4G network. However, already now the operator has deployed fourth-generation networks in settlements of less than 1 thousand people. The high-speed mobile Internet from Motiv operator already is in villages Altai, Vanzevat, Palyanovo (KhMAO), in the settlement of Pelvozh, in the villages of Yamgort and Kazym-mys (YaNAO), in the villages of Pulnikovo, Bolshebrusyanskoye, Chernousovo (Sverdlovsk region), in the villages of Borovlyanka, Oktyabrskoye, Ptichye (Kurgan region), etc. Until the end of 2015, the village of Agirish, the villages of Kolchedan, Maminskoye, Kochnevskoye, Barashkovo, Verkhny Yar, Vyatkino, Upper Sands, Fortress will be added to them.
The company notes that in the future, the coverage area of the 4G network will fully correspond to the coverage area of the existing GSM network.
The completion of the main stage of the construction of the 4G network allowed Motif to make high-speed mobile Internet its main service. Recall that in August of this year, the operator radically changed the tariff policy: in new tariffs, telephone calls and SMS messages are not charged, but are a free application to the data-traffic packet.
