JSC Motor Scientific and Production Enterprise is one of the leading experimental design bureaus on development of aviation engines. The enterprise develops engines for the MiG-21 fighter, the SU-15 interceptor, the SU-25 and SU-39 attack planes, the engine fan for the MiG-29 airplane. Works on operational development, reliability augmentation and increase in a resource of the AL-31F engine for family of the SU-27 and SU-34 airplanes are carried out to JSC NPP Motor.

Main activities of JSC NPP Motor:

• design, operational development, service maintenance and repair of aviation engines;
• development, production and delivery of gas power stations and other equipment of small-scale power generation;
• development, upgrade and repair of the equipment for the enterprises of fuel and energy complex.

Developments and scientific research in JSC NPP Motor are conducted using the modern equipment and new information technologies.

Since 2010 JSC NPP Motor Is a Part Upravlyayushchey kompanii United Engine Corporation which merges more than 85% of assets of the aviaengine-building industry and is UIC OBORONPROM subsidiary company.
