2026: Launch of the production of collector-free electric motors for UAVs
In February 2026, the resident of the Skolkovo innovation center, Motorskai, launched a robotic line for the production of electric motors for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The project was implemented in cooperation with another resident of the fund - the Perm company Robotech, which acted as the developer and integrator of the equipment complex.
As follows from the Skolkovo press release, the new automated line provides the production of up to 10 thousand trolley-free electric motors per month. The production process covers all stages: magnetic core stamping, casing casting, winding, insulation and final assembly. Quality control is built into each operation.
Director of Motorskay Dmitry Lebedev said that the goal of the project was to create production that meets new standards of quality and efficiency. In addition to end-to-end control, the launch of its own line allows you to quickly reconfigure production to various engine sizes and achieve a competitive cost. The company produces engines with power from 100 W to 5 kW, and the line includes 2807, 2810, 3115 series and others.
Nikolai Bulatov, director of the energy-intensive industries of the Skolkovo Foundation, noted that the project is focused on supporting national initiatives in the field of unmanned aircraft systems and automation. He also noted that the launch of production was carried out in record time. The fund plans to increase support for such technological leaders and the industrial cooperatives forming around them.
The Motorskai company intends to reach the planned production volumes in the near future. In parallel, negotiations are underway with potential customers about the supply of components. The strategic goal for 2026 is to provide contract orders with at least 30% of the capacity of the new robotic line.
