2025: Conclusion with Tyazhpromexport of a contract for 4.57 billion rubles for the construction of a medical center
Tyazhpromexport (part of the Rostec group) has signed a contract for the construction of the first stage of the Multidisciplinary Medical Center in Magnitogorsk. This was finally reported at the end of December 2025.
As follows from the data on the official portal of public procurement, a contract worth 4.57 billion rubles for the construction of a medical center was concluded on December 19, 2025. The second stage of the project is estimated at ₽11 billion. Thus, the cost of building a medical complex according to the estimate will be ₽15,66 billion. Financing is carried out from the federal and regional budgets.
TyazhpromexportConstruction starts in early 2026. Completion of the first phase is scheduled for December 2027. The two-year period for the implementation of the first phase implies an intensive pace of work. Phased construction allows you to quickly put part of the facility into operation.
The medical center will be built on an area of more than 53 thousand square meters. m north of the park "Attraction." The architectural concept provides for a modern look and functional layout that meets the requirements of medicine and patient safety. The center will unite buildings of different storeys.
The complex includes two seven-story hospitals connected to each other by a passage. Five units are integrated by a single communication and transport corridor. The corridor system provides convenient and fast movement of patients and staff. The efficient operation of diagnostic and treatment units depends on logistics inside the building.
Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region Alexei Teksler called the multifunctional medical center in Magnitogorsk a very significant and large-scale project both for the city and for the region as a whole. According to him, the facility will provide the needs for highly qualified medical care to more than half a million residents of a large agglomeration in the south of the Chelyabinsk region.[1]
