Museum Road of Memory complex

The museum complex of the main temple of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation "The road of memory" located in the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region — one of the largest not only in Russia, but also in the world. Its construction was dated for the 75th anniversary of a victory in the Great Patriotic War. The area of the complex for January, 2021 is about 11 thousand square meters. The center of the museum — the main temple of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. This special construction: the orthodox cathedral is constructed of glass and metal. Height of its belfry — 75 meters, by number of the years which passed from the date of the termination of the Great Patriotic War. In proportions of the temple both other significant numbers and dates from the recent history of the country are ciphered: war lasted 1418 days and nights, height of a small dome of the temple — 14.18 meters; time and signature date of capitulation of Germany — 22 hours 43 minutes on May 8, 1945, diameter of the main dome — 22.43 meters, diameter of a snare drum — 19.45 meters, in it 8 windows.
