The Ivan Yakovlevich Slovtsov Museum Complex is one of the largest museums in the Tyumen region.
According to 2022, the museum complex is located on 29,000 m ². The complex can be visited by 1000 people at a time, the storage facility occupies more than 9,000 m ², the exhibition space is represented by 5 halls from 450 to 1080 m ². The museum building has an amphitheater that can accommodate up to 250 people, as well as museum service areas for visitors.
At each of the 7 levels of the building, a modern automatic gas fire extinguishing system is installed, harmless for museum objects and people. The building is equipped with an automatic temperature and humidity maintenance system, which includes more than 100 ventilation machines. Multi-level security. The museum building has high energy efficiency: a recovery system, a complex of weather-dependent regulation of thermal energy consumption, a centralized lighting control system. All this makes it possible to provide optimal conditions for the work of employees, careful storage of objects and comfortable stay of visitors in the museum.
The reservoir contains dozens of museum collections. Unique works of Russian painters. Collection of Russian and Western European sculpture. A diverse collection of decorative and applied art, which presents Russian and Western European porcelain of the XIX century, samples of traditional crafts: Zhostov trays, Pavlovo-Posad handkerchiefs, Palekh caskets. A collection of icons, which presents temple, house, folk icons, including images of local saints.
