NARSS - National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences

National administration of remote sensing and space science (engl. National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences, NARSS) — the Egyptian organization in the field of observation from satellites.

For March, 2019 NARSS includes two main sectors: remote sensing and space researches. The sector of remote sensing carries out works on use of the data obtained from satellites of observation of Earth for creation of maps and space data for assessment and monitoring of natural resources, natural disasters and management of the environment. In the sector of space researches work on improvement of sensors for observation of Earth, their installation on satellites and the solution of all problems connected with obtaining information for processing and finally on start of the Egyptian satellite of remote sensing.
