History

2025: Installation of industrial robots for the production of Valdai trucks

In early August 2025, it became known that the Nizhny Novgorod Trucks (NGAA) company had introduced industrial robotic installations for the production of Valdai trucks. They perform a wide variety of operations, including welding elements, painting and moving cabins.

NGA LLC was established in January 2020. The founders were Avtozavod GAZ LLC (99.9%) and Commercial Vehicles - GAZ Group LLC. Later, the LLC was transformed into JSC, and in July 2022, Oilprom SO LLC became the sole owner of the enterprise.

"NGA," as noted on the organization's website, conducts independent independent work, and production processes are carried out in modern buildings equipped with specialized robots. The site of the Nizhny Novgorod automobile cluster was chosen taking into account the presence of a developed logistics infrastructure on it. Sales and maintenance of equipment are carried out through the main distributor - STT Group of Companies.

The enterprise with a total production line area of ​ ​ about 15,600 square meters produces trucks for 18, 33 and 45 tons. The flagship model is the Valdai 45 trunk truck tractor, the design of which allows you to work with European semi-trailers. In turn, Valdai 33 is presented in versions of a dump truck and chassis for heavy special add-ons. Valdai 18 is a car with a universal chassis for urban and regional transportation.

NGAA operates on a full cycle, including welding, painting and assembly. Capacity reaches 10 thousand cars per year. The cabins are checked for compliance with the requirements on a special coordinate and measuring machine. The operation of the equipment, as well as the physical and chemical properties of the materials, are monitored online by 200 parameters.^[1]
