2023: Laser Cutting Machines Launch

The company "NPK Morsvyazavtomatika" (NPK MSA) will launch the production of laser cutting machines in St. Petersburg for 420 million rubles. The company and the city authorities signed a corresponding agreement on the implementation of a large-scale investment project (MaIP) in December 2023.

The company will be located on Karavaevskaya street in St. Petersburg on an area of ​ ​ 3.3 hectares. The area of ​ ​ the building itself will be almost 11 thousand square meters. It is planned to launch the production of laser cutting plants under the Unimach trademark in 2028.

APC ISA specializes in the production of communication and navigation equipment. The organization produces ship and general industrial electronics, console consoles, climatic and refrigeration equipment systems, etc. By the end of December 2023, Morsvyazavtomatika produces 16 installations per year, it plans to increase this figure to 25 machines. Among the main customers are enterprises of the military-industrial complex and the fleet.

According to Kommersant, MaIP implies the possibility of obtaining land plots for the implementation of projects without bidding. At the same time, land is provided at a price of 1 rubles. per sq. m for the construction period, if it does not exceed five years. Investments in such a project should be at least 350 million rubles.

The publication cites data according to which by December 20, 2023, NPK Morsvyazavtomatika LLC is owned by General Director Andrian Pravdin (60%) and Andrei Smirnov (40%). Pravdin is a co-owner (20.36%) of the Emerium shipyard, which specializes in the production of electric traction ships.

Since 2004, the NPK ISA has been conducting development work on the creation of laser and plasma cutting complexes of sheet metal, the results of which have been introduced into mass production since 2007.[1]
