Creation of Anti-Crisis Solutions Department

On March 28, 2022, Napoleon IT announced the allocation of anti-crisis technical teams to help Russian companies.

The Russian economy faces a very serious challenge due to the unprecedented number of sanctions. Many Western software vendors, tech giants and consulting firms have decided to leave the country or suspend operations indefinitely. For vendors who remain, there is a risk of subsequent sanctions and service outages. If it is quite difficult to disable On-Premium solutions, then the situation is especially acute with cloud services of foreign companies. In this regard, the demand for domestic solutions, local services and import substitution is increasing.

To support Russian business, the developer Napoleon IT decided to create a separate department of anti-crisis solutions with more than 80 experienced employees combined into operational technical teams to help Russian companies minimize the risks associated with the use of foreign IT services and software. Within the framework of the anti-crisis package, the following services are highlighted:

  • Free audit of the information environment and advice on replacing software and services in critical business processes
  • Free assessment of migration readiness from overseas cloud services
  • Transfer of services and software from foreign clouds to Russian ones, as well as finalization of integration with Russian services
  • Operational development of own solutions to minimize risks of shutdown and downtime of Western software
  • Online connection of developers to current and new projects/products of the customer - outstaff on the main stacks: JavaScript, Python, Java, PHP, C#, Swift, Kotlin, QA Auto, QA manual, DevOps, Data Science.

We observe a large number of requests primarily for migration from Western cloud systems to Russian ones, as well as requests for the development/integration of similar Russian services that are most critical for business: supply chain, BI systems, loyalty management and others, - said Konstantin Price, Commercial Director of Napoleon IT.

{{quote 'These are different approaches to the interaction of digital solutions with the environment, when we will communicate not through the user interface, but will be able to naturally interact with any digital complex. - Alexander Kapitonov, Dean of the Faculty of Infocommunication Technologies of ITMO University, emphasizes the importance of specialization. - This opens up opportunities for innovative projects in the field of unmanned technologies and autonomous transport. I think such solutions will be in demand and in the near future will be able to save many lives. }}
