Perm This was reported by the Post Russia on November 18, 2019.

As a result of the transaction, JSC "National Logistics Technologies" will completely occupy the building of SK "Navigator." The Logistics Postal Center (LPC) will increase the processing capacity of Russian Post orders by two to three times, as well as reveal the potential of mail processing processes for e-commerce.

Automation of processes and the use of modern equipment at the LPC will meet the highest requirements for the speed of processing orders presented by the growing e-commerce market. The current logistics center is located in an outdated building that does not allow the placement of the latest generation of sorting equipment.

According to the agreement, the partners will own the joint venture on a parity basis. At the same time, the investment of each participant in the project will amount to 10.19 billion rubles over three years. Financing for the construction of logistics centers within the framework of the joint venture will be carried out through deposits in the authorized capital with the simultaneous issue of shares in favor of each of the parties.

As representatives of the federal postal operator explained, the key element of the created logistics enterprise will be a three-level system of 38 logistics centers with a total area of more than 400 thousand m ². According to the calculations of the Post, the launch of these centers will ensure the delivery of goods to the population the very next day after ordering goods online in all large cities of the country and a day later in regional centers.

In particular, the first level of terminals will consist of 7 logistics hubs in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Rostov-on-Don, Novosibirsk and Khabarovsk, which are located at airports or in close proximity to them. Hubs will be provided with a high degree of process automation and the ability to carry out both import and export operations to send parcels, as well as send goods on customer orders through Russian online stores from specially designated warehouse areas.

The second level of terminals (10 centers) will be located in cities with a population of more than 1 million people and will have automated sorting of parcels and storage areas for storing and processing orders.

Finally, the third level of terminals (21 centers) will provide a service for the delivery of online orders in cities and regions with a population of more than 500 thousand people.
