The national medical holding integrates 6 innovation health care facilities located in the territory of a medical cluster in Astana (May, 2013):

• National scientific center of motherhood and childhood,
• Republican children's rehabilitation center,
• Republican diagnostic center,
• Republican scientific center of neurosurgery,
• Republican scientific center of emergency medical service and
• National scientific Cardiac center.

Mission and tasks

Improvement of quality of life of the population by providing the medical services based on high international quality standards and security, the advanced medical and managerial technologies, providing their transfer in a health care system of the Republic of Kazakhstan and also contribution to development of domestic medical science and education.

Hospital of the future

Main objective of JSC National Medical Holding is creation competitive at the international level "Hospitals of the Future" which will provide to citizens of Kazakhstan, the FSU and beyond a broad spectrum of medical services on the basis of the advanced medical technologies, modern hospital management, international quality standards and security. Among them there are such services as emergency aid, out-patient and diagnostic service, obstetrics and gynecology, the neonatal help, internal diseases, neuro and a heart surgery and also rehabilitation treatment.

Within the project creation of "Future hospital" is planned creation of a full stroke of hi-tech services based on clinics of holding by development of clinical and management processes, a single system of information technologies, laboratory and other auxiliary services, medical education and applied science. Creation of "Future hospital" provides implementation of the transparent business focused hospital management.

Other important task of National medical holding is implementation the patient - the focused principle of medical care. It will demand high ethical standards and preparation of the motivated highly professional personnel working according to the international clinical protocols and technologies.

Accreditation by the international commission of JCI which is "gold standard" for the medical organizations of the developed countries acts as an important sales term of the Hospital of the Future project. It provides access to the international resources allowing to improve constantly quality, to reduce risks. Accreditation of JCI bears advantages not only to health workers and the organizations, but also to those who at them are treated, in particular due to minimization of medical errors, observance of the rights of patients and confidentiality of medical information to raise degree of hospital safety of patients and medics.

It should be noted that creation of "Future hospital" is impossible without implementation of the Single hospital information system with electronic record of patients and digital archiving of data. All this integrates in the concept "paperless hospital", one of the most perspective directions of hospital management of 21 centuries.

History

2008: Creation of holding from 100% participation of the state

JSC National Medical Holding was formed in 2008 according to the government decree of the Republic of Kazakhstan with absolute participation of the state in its authorized capital.
