2020: Attraction of $72 million investments

In the middle of October, 2020 the developer of medical Neocis robots attracted $72 million within a series of investment of D. The company is going to use the received means for further work on the robotic Yomi system for surgical implantation of teeth.

DFJ Growth headed a financing round with participation of Vivo Capital and other investors, including Mithril Capital Management, Norwest Venture Partners and Section 32. In the whole Neocis attracted more than $120 million financing.

Successful installation of tooth implants requires careful preoperative planning and a fine precision as the doctor should avoid damage of critically significant anatomical structures and provide the best result for the patient. The traditional equipment requires creation of invasive access which bares a bone and is the main source of pain and discomfort for the patient.

The developer of the robot for implantation of teeth of Neocis attracted tens of millions of investments for development of the product Yomi

Yomi uses tactile robotic management and represents the navigation system intended for assistance to stomatologists both at a planning stage, and at a surgical stage. Yomi provides software for planning of procedures of dental implantation and provides management of surgical instruments during transaction for exact accomplishment of the surgical plan.

Yomi can be used for low-invasive implantation of teeth without exposure of a bone. It is proved that such approach reduces duration of surgical intervention, provides faster recovery and reduces expressiveness of a pain syndrome.

According to the company, using Yomi more than 2700 tooth implants are set already. Yomi is also used at two leading dental schools of the USA for training of the next generation of stomatologists-implantologists in the latest robotic technologies.[1]
