2022: Opening of dialysis center
At the end of June 2022, a new player appeared on the Russian dialysis market. We are talking about the company "Nephrohels," which is going to build hemodialysis centers within walking distance from houses in the regions of Russia and work in the compulsory health insurance system (compulsory medical insurance).
The first such clinic will open in early July 2022 in the Southern Administrative District of Moscow. The center with a total area of 1 thousand square meters. m is equipped with 20 artificial kidney devices of the Fresenius 5008S brand and will provide blood purification services for patients suffering from chronic renal failure. In addition to hemodialysis procedures, patients of the center will have access to studies on a high-precision ultrasound apparatus, bioimpedansometry (dry weight measurement), as well as an endocrinologist, cardiologist and nephrologist.
The total investment in the Moscow center amounted to about 100 million rubles. Its maximum capacity is 120 patients.
According to information in the SPARK-Interfax system, Nefrohels LLC was registered in April 2021. The CEO of the company by June 2022 is Dmitry Zhabenets.
At the end of March 2022, the Nefro-League Interregional Public Organization of Nephrological Patients asked the government to index the basic compulsory medical insurance tariff for renal replacement therapy services, taking into account the real rise in consumer prices. Dependence on foreign consumables in Russia is 99% (dialysers, filtration systems, lines, concentrates, etc.), measures are needed to exclude the possibility of reuse of disposable consumables. In most regions, tariffs do not correspond to operating costs, which significantly reduces the quality and availability of medical care, the appeal noted.[1]
