2024: Revenue growth up to 2 billion rubles

At the end of 2024, the Russian company New Platforms, specializing in the development and production of electronic products, showed revenue growth. The figure exceeded 2 billion rubles, as reported at the end of January 2025.

It is noted that the revenue of "New Platforms" is provided primarily by the main activity - the production of hardware platforms. The company's electronic products are used in such areas as telecommunications, information security, general-purpose computing equipment. All platforms are included in the Unified Register of Russian Radio Electronic Products (RAP) and the Register of Telecommunications Equipment of Domestic Origin (TORP). The New Platforms website says that the organization has more than 60 specialists, and the volume of delivered products by the beginning of 2025 reached 35 thousand units.

For five years, since its foundation, the company has shown steady growth at the end of each annual reporting period. And 2024 is no exception. This became possible due to the growth in the number of clients, - said Oleg Minakov, General Director of New Platforms.

According to him, the Russian microelectronics market is experiencing a number of difficulties that negatively affect the growth rate of the industry. This, in particular, is the skeptical attitude of consumers towards domestic products, as well as the dependence of manufacturers on the foreign microelectronic base. As of the beginning of 2025, most domestic hardware platform suppliers use Intel processors, but their supply to the territory of the Russian Federation is difficult due to sanctions and logistics restrictions. In the current environment, New Platforms plans to expand its product range to meet demand among companies from various sectors of the Russian economy.^[1]

2024: Launch of a pilot production of electronic modules based on the SMD components machine

On November 27, 2024, the New Platforms company announced the launch of a pilot production of electronic modules based on an SMD components machine, which solves the problems of small-scale production and prototyping in the development of new products. Investments in the project amounted to 100 million rubles.

The launch of the production line for electronic modules is caused by the need to create its own production base, which allows increasing the speed of hypothesis testing when developing new electronic modules as part of research and development work. In case of successful tests, the company can launch small-scale production of new products in a short time.

Pilot production consists of areas of surface and output installation, an assembly and assembly area and a repair area on the basis of a precision station. The equipment used allows the complete production cycle of electronic modules, according to the requirements of IPC standards with a high quality class.

The first batches of released electronic modules confirmed the calculations of the company's specialists in performance, speed of inter-project transitions, as well as technological requirements for production and quality criteria for electronic assemblies. Thanks to its own production, New Platforms will be able to meet the growing demand for the company's solutions - in 2024 alone, the demand for the company's products increased by 50% compared to 2023. The plans for 2025 include additional investment in the project of 100 million rubles, as well as expanding production and doubling its capacity.
