2024: Revenue growth by 13.9% to 26.7 billion rubles

At the end of 2024, the Novotrans railway company recorded revenue of 26.66 billion rubles. This is 13.9% more than in the previous year, when 23.4 billion rubles were received. Such data are provided in the financial documentation, which TAdviser reviewed in early August 2025.

The cost of sales on an annualized basis decreased by 4.3% - from 11.54 billion rubles to 11.05 billion rubles. Commercial expenses doubled, amounting to 4.96 million rubles against 2.42 million rubles in 2023. Management expenses rose from 456.24 million rubles to 547.79 million rubles, that is, by 20.1%. Other revenues soared almost 16 times - from 108.16 million rubles to 1.71 billion rubles. At the same time, other expenses decreased by 57.1% - from 2.02 billion rubles to 864.88 million rubles.

Sales of products, goods, works and services in 2024 brought 3.06 billion rubles, which is 68.1% more compared to 2023, when the figure was 1.82 billion rubles. Revenues from lease payments, license payments, royalties, commissions and other similar payments increased by 14.6% - from 20.61 billion rubles to 23.61 billion rubles. Payments to suppliers (contractors) for raw materials, materials, works and services decreased by about a third, being at the level of 6.89 billion rubles against 10.39 billion rubles in 2023. Labor costs increased by 23.6% from RUB 199.43 million to RUB 246.51 million.

In 2024, Novotrans received 15.61 billion rubles in gross profit, which is 31.6% more than in the previous year (11.86 billion rubles). Profit from sales rose by almost a third - from 11.4 billion rubles to 15.06 billion rubles. Net profit amounted to 11.53 billion rubles, which is 30% more than in 2023 (8.87 billion rubles).^[1]

2018

According to the audited data of RAS, Novotrans showed high dynamics in the period from 2015 to 2018. In particular, the growth in the volume of annual revenue from the sale of services exceeded 41%. The average growth rate of net profit is over 111%, and labor productivity is about 46%. In 2018, the growth rate of investment in fixed assets exceeded 48%.
