The Amadeus company announced in December, 2013 intention to purchase Newmarket International, the supplier of cloud IT solutions in the field of group service and organization of events for hotel business; transaction amount will be 500 million. Accession of the Newmarket company which is based in Portsmouth, State of New Hampshire (USA), will attract strong management team and talented employees to Amadeus that will expand experience and examination of the Group in the field of IT solutions for hotel business which is key for ensuring further growth.

The Newmarket company servicing about 22,000 unique hotel objects in 154 countries specializes in a segment of group trips and organization of events in hotel business which provides about 30-40% of revenues of the hotels providing a full range of services. The company will work as autonomous business within Amadeus Global Hotel Group which will integrate many aspects of highly reliable products and company services of Amadeus for a long time.

It is expected that the combination of efforts of Amadeus and Newmarket companies will provide increase in income from synergy of opportunities as in the sector of IT solutions for hotel business, and in the sector of distribution.

Product offering and services of Newmarket are addition to the set of the IT products Amadeus focused on delivery of cloud corporate solutions in such areas as centralized systems of armoring, a resource management system, revenue management system and the platform of e-commerce.

As a result of the transaction about 430 employees worldwide, including all management team of Newmarket, will become a part of Amadeus Global Hotel Group. The headquarters of Newmarket company will remain in Portsmouth, the State of New Hampshire.

Newmarket has wide experience of growth and providing profit. It is expected that at the end of 2013 income of Newmarket will be 110 million dollars, and the marginality of EBITDA will be 31%.
