Nizhny Novgorod Machine Building Plant, JSC

Nizhny Novgorod Machine Building Plant (JSC NMZ) is founded in 1932 as the largest enterprise of defense industry. In 1934 at the plant the CB led by the outstanding designer of the artillery Vasiliyem Gavrilovichem Grabinym systems was organized. In the period of the Great Patriotic War the plant produced 100 thousand guns it is, more, than all countries of the Hitlerite coalition combined. The machine-building plant for merits before the Homeland is awarded with five highest government awards.

JSC NMZ is a modern industrial complex which includes six specialized productions, the powerful design center, the proving ground, culturally - sports constructions, agro-industrial plant and some other objects.

The field of activity of the company includes production:

• military equipment (S-300 surface-to-air missile systems, antenna complexes, artillery systems, mortars);
• the equipment for the nuclear industry (atomic ship units, reactors for the NPP);
• civil products (self-propelled lifting units for repair of wells (APRS), automobile telescopic elevators (AP), heat engineering (heating plants, boiler, gas boilers of different types), manipulators for the forest industry, coal K-500 combines);
