2025: Knee prosthesis assembly launch. ₽1 billion will be invested in the project

At the end of February 2025, the group of prosthetics and rehabilitation companies "Without Barriers" announced the beginning of the assembly of the first samples of knee assemblies for prostheses in the Seversky district of the Krasnodar Territory. The volume of investments in the project exceeds ₽1 billion.

The Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Veniamin Kondratyev announced the company's plans to launch a full-scale mass production of components for lower limb prostheses by the end of 2025. The implementation of the project will provide the regional rehabilitation center with the necessary medical means and reduce dependence on imported products.

An agreement on the production of high-tech components for prostheses was signed by the authorities of the Krasnodar Territory with an investor at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in June 2024. According to the regional department of business development and foreign economic activity, this is the first such project in the region.

Governor Veniamin Kondratyev emphasized the high demand for a rehabilitation medical base in the region and the importance of mass production of high-tech medical devices. "We have created a high-quality medical base, and to fully restore patients, we are building a regional center for medical rehabilitation. And the presence of advanced equipment, as well as modern prostheses and components, will be of great importance for him, "the head of the region noted.

The production of prostheses will become an important element of the medical rehabilitation system being created in the region. In the village of Dinskoy, the construction of the regional center for medical rehabilitation continues, where patients after strokes, operations and heart attacks, including participants in a special military operation, will be able to undergo a full cycle of recovery.

The completion of the construction of a rehabilitation center in the village of Dinskoy is scheduled for 2026. The production of components for prostheses will provide not only the needs of this center, but also other medical institutions of the Krasnodar Territory.^[1]
