2016: The borrower of IDF started import-substituting production of terry products

The borrower Fonda of industry development – the Praymteks company (enters into Nordteks Group) – started in the fall of 2016 production of terry products. The company intends to fight for the market in which the share of foreign producers makes 80%.

Production in the Ivanovo region is open within the import-substituting project with a total cost of 669.7 million rubles on which implementation in December, 2015 the company obtained a loan of IDF in the amount of 466 million rubles. The Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Victor Evtukhov participated in the opening ceremony.

The market of terry products of Russia considerably depends today on import. Domestic manufacturers provide only 20% of the market, and production of terry products with the printing drawing in Russia was absent so far. In production "Praymteks" uses digital textile printers. It gives the chance to apply any drawings of photographic quality on products that is critical competitive advantage in the modern market.

In 2017 the company intends to bring production volume from present 150 tons a month to 300 tons a month and to occupy more than 10% of the Russian market of terry products. According to the experts the sales volume of products is 20 billion rubles a year of a makhra.

Within implementation of the same project in the summer of 2016 with attraction of a loan of IDF the company already started serial production of curtains and portyerny fabrics. Before nearly 100% of these products it was delivered from the abroad. Products already come to retail chain stores.

Both productions were placed in the industrial Springs park. At the enterprise the full range of the modern equipment of the leading European manufacturers (PICANOL, MCS, ANGLADA, SCHMALE) which allows to produce 90% of views from all range of the terry products presented at the Russian market is set. The new equipment will allow to release qualitative terry towels and curtains.

The price of products will be for 10-20% of low price similar import.
