2018: Alexander Mamut refused construction of the bonus medical center and starts the project in Skolkovo
On July 24, 2018 it became known that the A&NN Investments fund belonging to Alexander Mamut decided not to build the elite medical center in the west of Moscow. Instead it was decided to construct branch of hospital of the University of Strasbourg in the international medical cluster (IMC) in Skolkovo.
As told in A&NN Investments to Kommersant, in the territory of a medical cluster in Skolkovo the powerful medical and scientific and educational complex based on the Russian branch of University hospital of Strasbourg will be created. Till 2022 the multi-profile Center of the French medicine of 15 thousand square meters under medical management of University hospital of Strasbourg will be constructed. Main activities of the center: oncology, cardiology, traumatology and orthopedics, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology and others. The amount of investments does not reveal.
The project also assumes construction of the academic building. The university wants to organize programs of life-long education for doctors, rates, seminars, training for young specialists and distance learning using digital technologies of visualization.
A&NN Investments will construct the multi-profile medical center in Skolkovo instead of bonus organization which was going to be constructed on Tolbukhin Street where the historical residence of the Soviet marshal Fedor Tolbukhin is located. There the fund possesses section of 1.1 hectares, and now this earth can be offered for sale, the chief executive A&NN Nadezhda Ermakova reported the edition. The CEO of Geo development Maxim Leshchev estimates the market value of this section approximately at 200 million rubles, proceeding from a possibility of construction on it the medical center.
According to Ermakova, A&NN corrected plans for construction of the medical center "because of unique opportunities which gives, creating the legal basis for a transfer to Russia of the best medical practices". The project in Skolkovo will be expected not only patients with the high level of income, but also wider audience.[1]
2017: Information on construction
In June, 2017 it became known of creation of the multi-profile bonus medical center in Moscow. The project is implemented by A&NN Investments investment fund of the businessman Alexander Mamut.
As the chief executive A&NN Nadezhda Ermakova told the Kommersant newspaper, the new center has the working name Norma Clinic, and the exact name will be defined later. According to Ermakova, section under clinic of 1.1 hectares was purchased still about three years ago, to the middle of June, 2017 there is an approval of the project documentation.
Is going to begin construction of the medical center in the first quarter 2018, and to open — in the first quarter of the 2020th. The total area of clinic will be 14 thousand sq.m. On four floors 15 departments specializing in oncology, cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, female health, urology, traumatology and orthopedics, ophthalmology, the general surgery, etc. will be placed.
Also in the territory the maternity hospital with nine chambers and the center of auxiliary reproductive technologies capable to make more than 1 thousand cycles of extracorporal fertilization a year will be located. It is supposed that annually in the center there will be about 300 thousand out-patient visits and up to 7 thousand transactions.
The center will be located at Tolbukhin Street, 3. The French architectural bureau Jean-Paul Viguier et Associes will be engaged in the project of construction of an object.
Ermakova told that the general amount of investments into start of clinic is estimated previously at $ 100 million. She specified that Medholding (for 100% A&NN Investments belongs) is going to raise a part of these funds from third-party investors, however control over the project will be A&NN Investments. Medikal Trust Holding which will deduct lease payments to Medholding will be engaged in operational management of the medical center.[2]
