2021: Opening of the infectious complex

In mid-September 2021, the opening of a new infectious complex in Novokuznetsk took place. About 4.7 billion rubles were invested in the project.

The complex, belonging to the city clinical infectious diseases hospital (GKB) No. 8 named after V.V. Bessonenko, includes 12 buildings with a total area of ​ ​ 27.7 thousand square meters. m, which were built over 1.5 years. The medical building housed 99 miller's boxes, designed for 270 beds. If necessary, the number of beds can be increased to 319. Oxygen supply to the chambers is provided by its own oxygen gasification station.

The hospital will employ more than 340 medical workers, including more than 70 doctors. The complex opened its own laboratory service with equipment for working with a wide range of studies, including pathogens of I and II pathogenicity groups - automatic bacteriological and biochemical analyzers and a mass spectrometer.

In addition, the hospital provides a department of radiation diagnostics with systems, computed tomography an X-ray diagnostic tele-controlled complex ULTRASONOGRAPHY and an expert class. Doctors will be able to conduct lung patients KT and other examinations around the clock. Portable equipment was purchased for research on urgent indications directly in the boxes.

The Novokuznetsk Infectious Disease Hospital will become the center of the southern agglomeration of Kuzbass for countering various infectious diseases.
