JSC Novosibirsk Instrumental Plant is the largest enterprise of Russia for production of a metalwork and mounting, driver's and clamping tool.
History
Peter I founded the plant. It is constructed on the river bank of the Sister in St. Petersburg. At the beginning of the activity the plant was engaged in gunpowder manufacture, production cold and firearms, anchors, a rigging for the Admiralty, stamping of coins.
The skill of Sestroretsk handymen passed from father to son. They did grids for fencings of St. Petersburg and Tsarskoye Selo, is created by their hands amazing silver cancer on Alexander Nevsky's tomb. Their genius and creativity armed the Russian army with the first-class weapon. The skill of factory workers was praised by A.V. Suvorov who visited the plant in 1772. And in century the legendary trilinear Russian rifle of a sample of 1891 designed by S.I. Mosin became world-famous.
Till 1922 the plant released weapon, in 1923 passed to instrumental production and is renamed into "The Sestroretsk instrumental plant of S.P. Voskov"
In the first months of the Great Patriotic War "The Sestroretsk instrumental plant" was evacuated to Novosibirsk. In Novosibirsk it was necessary to start from scratch, there were no premises, there was not enough labor power. On September 17, 1941 at the plant the first machine was launched.
On October 23, 1941 the machine-tool constructing workshop mounted on the second platform began to give products for equipment of workshops of the main production by the missing equipment. This date also became a birthday of "The Novosibirsk instrumental plant". In November, 1941 procurement workshops got to work, and in December the first products for the front were issued.
The 90th - the 2000th
JSC Novosibirsk Instrumental Plant is created by incorporating "The Novosibirsk instrumental production association" in 1994.
Progressive technology processes were implemented:
- bezobloyny stamping of changeable heads on automatic transfer lines of hot stamping,
- automatic transfer lines of bezobloyny hot stamping of keys to drilling cartridges,
- painting of pipe and lever keys on the automatic transfer line by an electrophoresis method,
- plastizolny covering of handles of a metalwork mounting tool and many other things.
For March 7, 2014 JSC Novosibirsk Instrumental Plant is the largest enterprise of Russia for production of the metalwork and mounting and driver's tool. The fifth part of all products made by the Russian instrumental plants has the trademark of the plant.
Costs for modernization and mastering of new types of products annually make from 30 to 40 million rubles. The plant applies the latest computer technologies, developments of the Siberian scientists and locates the developed engineering base.
