2024: Completion of construction
In the village of Sadovy near Novosibirsk, the construction of the largest infectious diseases hospital in Siberia worth ₽13,5 billion was completed, the medical institution plans to obtain a license by the end of 2024. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of the region on December 17, 2024.
According to RBC, the construction was carried out within the framework of a public-private partnership by the investment and construction holding "K1." Work began in 2022 and was supposed to be completed on August 31, 2023.
The new medical complex with a total area of 35 thousand square meters is designed for 504 beds. It consists of six treatment units, functional diagnosis, resuscitation, intensive care and radiology units.
The hospital will house four laboratories and an operating unit in a complex with a maternity ward. To provide emergency medical care, a helipad for air ambulance is provided.
The Ministry of Health of the Novosibirsk Region reported that the institution is in the process of obtaining a positive conclusion from Rospotrebnadzor, which is necessary for obtaining a medical license.
The new medical institution will replace the old hospital complex located on Shamshin Family Street. The vacated site is planned to be implemented to reduce the burden on the regional budget.
The hospital has become the largest infectious diseases medical institution in the Siberian Federal District. Its construction is part of a program to modernize the region's health care system.
The project was implemented through a public-private partnership mechanism, which made it possible to attract private investment to create a modern medical institution with a full cycle of diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases.[1]
