Novosibirsk International Airport (Tolmachevo) is one of the most intensively developing airports of federal significance, the largest transit hub beyond the Urals on the most important routes connecting Europe and Asia.

Performance indicators

2025: Passenger traffic increased 3% to 9.5 million

At the end of 2025, Tolmachevo Airport in Novosibirsk served 9.5 million passengers. Its passenger traffic increased by 3% compared to 2024, when the previous record of 9.299 million passengers was set.

The press service of Tolmachevo Airport announced a new record figure on December 25, 2025, when the anniversary 9.5 million passenger was recorded. It was Artem Arkhipenko, a passenger on an S7 Airlines flight to Sochi. The general representative of S7 Airlines in Novosibirsk, Yevgeny Chernyshev, handed him a certificate for the flight and a model of the Airbus A320 aircraft.

Tolmachevo Airport in Novosibirsk served a record 9.5 million passengers in a year

Tolmachevo Airport, according to its official website, is the largest transit air hub east of the Urals on routes between Europe and Asia. It ranks fourth in Russia in terms of passenger traffic after the airports of the Moscow air hub, St. Petersburg and Sochi. Its route network includes more than 90 destinations with daily service to 35 cities of Russia. The share of transit (transfer) passengers in 2024 amounted to 26.9%. Freight traffic during the same period reached 25,110 tons.

Konstantin Furyaev, General Director of Tolmachevo Airport, linked the achievement with the result of the joint work of the airport team, airlines and partners, including the Chashka Coffee restaurant chain, Khamovniki restaurant, Regstaer-R (Duty & Shops store), TaigaKraft store, Red Car Regions store (Zielinski & Rozen store). Furyaev stressed that the priority task of the enterprise is to provide reliable and comfortable conditions for millions of passengers.

The Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Andrei Travnikov recalled the importance of reconstructing the airport complex, noting its main achievements: a new apron for aircraft parking was built, additional taxiways were introduced, and accompanying infrastructure was created. The goal of the modernization is to increase the airport's capacity to 12 million passengers per year by 2027.[1][2][3][4]

2024:24% increase in net profit to 4.4 billion rubles

Tolmachevo Airport JSC (Novosibirsk, part of the Novaport holding) in 2024 received a net profit under RAS in the amount of 4.4 billion rubles, which is 23.5% more than in 2023. Revenue increased by 19%, to 11.6 billion rubles. Gross profit amounted to 7.15 billion rubles (an increase of 25.5%), profit from sales - 6.57 billion rubles (+ 28.6%). Such data are given in March 2025 in the company's statements. The airport does not explain the reasons for the change in financial indicators for 2024.[5]

2025: Appointment of Konstantin Furyaev as General Director of Tolmachevo Airport

Konstantin Furyaev was appointed General Director of Tolmachevo Airport, which is part of the Novaport holding. Changes in the manual were made to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities on January 20, 2025. Previously, Furyaev served as the financial director of the airport. Read more here.
