OGKU Government for Citizens

The regional state government institution "Internet Technology Development Corporation - a multifunctional center for the provision of state and municipal services in the Ulyanovsk Region" (OGKU "Government for Citizens") was founded on August 1, 2016 by reorganizing the OGKU "Electronic Ulyanovsk" in the form of joining the OGAU "Multifunctional Center for the Provision of State and Municipal Services in the Ulyanovsk Region."

The organization was created to improve the effectiveness of informatization management in the Ulyanovsk region. The main goals of the institution's activities are to organize the provision of state and municipal services on the principle of "one window" and in electronic form, as well as the development of Internet technologies.

History

2016: Education of "Government for Citizens" through the reorganization of "Electronic Ulyanovsk" and the MPSC of the Ulyanovsk Region

On the basis of the order of the Government of the Ulyanovsk Region of April 27, 2016, the OGKU "Electronic Ulyanovsk" was reorganized by joining the OGAU "Multifunctional Center for the Provision of State and Municipal Services in the Ulyanovsk Region." As a result of the merger, on August 1, 2016, the OGKU "Corporation for the Development of Internet Technologies - a multifunctional center for the provision of state and municipal services in the Ulyanovsk Region" (Corporation "Government for Citizens") was created.

2004: Creation of OGAU "Electronic Ulyanovsk"

The regional state autonomous institution "Electronic Ulyanovsk" was created in 2004 to implement the program measures of the Concept of Informatization of the Ulyanovsk Region "Electronic Ulyanovsk" for 2004-2010, was the operator of the Government of the Ulyanovsk Region in the IT sphere, provides services for creating software, system integration and data transfer. In addition, the first Competence Center in the field of information technology was opened in OGAU "Electronic Ulyanovsk" together with Microsoft, in which residents of the city could learn to work with the main computer programs for free.
