2025: Opening a robot plant for meat processing plants

The Orenburg Automation and Robotization Plant has launched mass production of robotic equipment for the meat processing industry. The total investment in the creation of new production amounted to ₽250 million. The enterprise was opened on the territory of the Orenburg special economic zone in June 2025.

The Federal Industrial Development Fund provided ₽137 million for the purchase of high-tech equipment under the flagship Development Projects program. VTB allocated ₽80 million in the form of an industrial mortgage for the construction of production facilities.

Representatives of the company noted that up to 90% of all lines of meat processing plants in Russia operate on European equipment. The import of European equipment was banned by the European Union, most of the equipment is supplied from China.

After reaching the design capacity, the Orenburg enterprise will be able to produce annually up to 100 positioners-stackers complete with automated thermoformers. The plant plans to occupy up to 28% of the Russian market for relevant equipment, partially displacing imports.

At the moment (June 2025), agreements have already been concluded with the meat processing enterprises Abbyy, Damate, Strogonov and other manufacturers. The level of product localization is 82%.

The equipment uses Russian-made Extremum industrial delta robots and proprietary software. Engineers of the OrenKlip group focused on the most successful industry practices - positioning with a slide using a system of conveyors and belts. ^[1]
