"The whole world stop making laugh with the shortest subway map. Works on the dug-up ditches should be finished, fences are removed, the land movement of city transport is started" — Burkov emotionally said.

For the 2017th year only one object of the Omsk subway — the Library of Pushkin station is complete. Now, according to a number of media, formally there is a construction by an open method of two more stations. However really works are not conducted, ditches are only dug up.

"We should not allow slipping of soil within building. This circumstance — decisive therefore in 2018 we will spend about 800 million rubles for works on closing of codes of two stations and preservation of an object" — the acting governor of the region announced. According to Interfax, requires to preserve construction quickly also Rostekhnadzor.

What to do with the unfinished subway, will solve later, Burkov specified. Will attract erudite and citizens to it.

In May, 2018 the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation opposed the decision of the authorities of the Omsk region to preserve construction of the subway in Omsk due to the lack of money for project completion. Department stated the position in the comment of RBC.

"Considering high degree of construction readiness of objects of the subway and also the fact that obligations of the Russian Federation for joint financing of the project are completely fulfilled, to the government of the Omsk region for the purpose of prevention of inefficient use of means of the federal budget is recommended to make in case of need changes to project solutions on subway objects, having selected the construction stages possible to end and to put these objects into operation", said in the statement of Ministry of Transport. It is possible that on such background the decision on preservation of an object will turn back initiation of legal proceedings against the authorities of the region, RBC notes.

One of three unfinished sections of the subway in Omsk completely will be filled in with cement and sand solution. Such decision was made in May, 2019 in the government of the Omsk region, writes the local Internet portal "NGS55". It is caused by limited financial opportunities of the regional budget: in this case it is not necessary to allocate funds for the maintenance of the preserved object.

Two other unfinished sections of "subway" are decided to preserve with a possibility of further construction or reconstruction (for example, under needs of the high-speed tram). It is the Library of Pushkin station with access tunnels and also a part of the route of the subway with Zarechnaya and Kristall stations. Here will complete earlier begun constructions, and then equip them with ventilation systems, electric lighting and water disposal.
