Attraction of $1 million investments

In March, 2020 Ondoc announced attraction of $1 million from medicobiological scientific-industrial complex "Tsitomed". These investments supplement $2 million which Tsitomed provided to the Russian developer of services for control of health earlier. At the same time the project has no other investors at the time of the conclusion of the transaction on financing.

According to the head of Ondoc Alexander Konstantinov, by March, 2020 the startup came to a self-sufficiency stage, and means received from Tsitomed will go for team development, the international projects, improvement of product quality and the user experience and also development of the new directions.

According to own data, Ondoc has more than 300 thousand active users who use a personal account. Among partners of Ondoc calls more than 100 medical companies in Russia and Europe, including EMS networks, Alexandria, ALPHA — the Center of Health and others.

As for Tsitomed, this medicobiological scientific-industrial complex develops and produces the medicines used in pediatrics, urology and dermatology. Production sites of the company are in St. Petersburg and Finland (by March, 2020).^[1]

OnDoc allowed clinics to start the telemedicine services

In August, 2018 the service of control of health OnDoc announced that it gave to clinics an opportunity to start own telemedicine services. Thanks to this initiative medical institutions will be able to render through a uniform personal account of the patient the range of services including and offers on telemedicine.

According to the press release, clinics had an opportunity to create any number of programs with a different set of services. In particular, it is possible to put the round-the-clock consultations of the doctor on duty, to include in a packet of doctors of specific specializations for online consultations or acceptances in clinic, to define the number of consultations for each specific proposal. OnDoc gave several examples showing that can be created thanks to service:

• The combined acceptances including additional online consultation after internal acceptance in structure of medical service;
• Programs for the term of treatment passing which include online and internal visits to the narrow specialist;
• Programs of maintenance or observation after the main treatment.;
• Basic subscription to online consultations of doctors on duty 24/7 for a certain term.

It is noted that the telemedicine services started through OnDoc can be sold as on the Internet, using a personal account of the patient, and offline.

In terms of business, telemedicine programs help clinics to attract new patients, to build up the long-term relationship with current and to increase profitability of the telemedicine direction in clinic — the head of OnDoc Alexander Konstantinov says. — But the most important — telemedicine gives the chance in a complex to accompany patients during treatment. Supporting patients on the way to recovery, the clinic increases percent of people who follow the appointed course of therapy, there take place necessary control inspections and successfully complete treatment.

Sale of services through MTS salons

In June, 2018 it became known of sale of medical services of OnDoc by MTS company. The mobile operator decided to extend packets of telemedicine service "Doctors online" which will be available at 400 offices MTS and Телефон.ру cellular shops belonging to the company in the Northwestern Federal District (NFD).

Enter the program from one to three consultations narrow specialist. Before contacting the neurologist, the allergist, the cardiologist or other specialist, clients "Doctors online" will have to receive the recommendation from the therapist with whom it is possible to consult unlimited number of times. There are two rates: for a month (from 1.9 thousand rubles) and for a year (from 3.9 thousand rubles). Ondoc expects to sell several thousands of packets a month, Kommersant with reference to representatives of the company writes.

MTS decided to sell telemedicine services of OnDoc

At first (in June, 2018) MTS intends to offer telemedicine services in 6 of 11 regions of the Northwestern Federal District — St. Petersburg, the Leningrad, Arkhangelsk and Murmansk regions and also Karelia and Komi. It is going to expand geography in several months. In Ondoc are also going to start the similar project and in the central part of the Russian Federation, but with other partners as the SmartMed service, joint with network of Medsi clinics, works for MTS there.

One of founders "The doctor at work" Ilya Kupriyanov doubts success of a joint initiative of MTS and OnDoc. According to him, in the non-core companies telemedicine services best of all are on sale in a packet with a main product of the seller. The product is more difficult — for example, bank, insurance, or rates of cellular communication — that the package offer is simpler to understaff with telemedicine service, Kupriyanov reported, having added that in St. Petersburg sales of services in the field of telemedicine are much lower, than in Moscow.^[2]
