2017: Renaming of Opera into Otello Corporation
On December 18, 2017 it was announced renaming of the Norwegian company Opera Software into Otello Corporation. Rebranding happened after the mass sale of assets, including browser business. Otello Corporation focused on development of advertizing and mobile solutions, and the new company Opera Software belonging to the Chinese consortium began to develop the Opera browsers.
