Optimyze is a Swiss company that develops software to track and optimize the consumption of enterprise cloud resources, including processor, storage, and network performance analysis. Optimyze's most prominent competitor in continuous profiling is Datadog, but there are other competitors, such as Granulate Cloud Solutions.

History

2021: Elastic bought Optimyze

In mid-October 2021, the developer of solutions for working big data Elastic with announced the purchase of Optimyze. Financial the terms of the transaction are not disclosed.

According to the report, ZDNet Optimyze creates a tool called Prodfiler, which is designed to evaluate the efficiency of the devices used by the company in terms of central processors performance (CPU).

Developer of big data software Elastic bought software developer to optimize consumption of Optimyze cloud resources

Elastic said in a press release that the company "will combine three components of observability - metrics, logs, and traces - with new continuous profiling capabilities" to "provide customers with useful information," leading to "improved quality of service and performance while reducing MTTD (average fault detection time) and MTTR (average repair time)."
