2024: Announcement of plans to create a clinic for 10 billion rubles
In mid-February 2024, it became known about the project of a clinic with PET/CT center in Syktyvkar. About 10 billion rubles will be invested in the construction and equipment of this multidisciplinary medical center.
According to TASS with reference to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Komi Republic Anton Vinogradov, by mid-February 2024, a land plot was determined in Lesozavod (Syktyvkar microdistrict), on which the clinic will be erected. Its construction is scheduled to be completed in 2026.
It is planned to create positron emission tomography, which is today the most advanced method for diagnosing cancer, neurological and cardiovascular diseases, as well as a cyclotron (particle accelerator) for the production of radiopharmaceuticals, - said Vinogradov, whose words are quoted by the agency. |
It is assumed that residents of not only Komi, but also neighboring regions - the Arkhangelsk region, the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and others - will be able to use the services of a new medical institution on the territory of Syktyvkar. Basic services for doctor's appointments will be free under the compulsory health insurance system.
The structure of the future medical center included a hemodialysis department with 50 beds, rehabilitation facilities, and a laboratory. The preliminary diagnostic capacity of the facility will be 4 thousand patients per year.
According to Anton Vinogradov, 500 doctors and nurses will be needed to operate the new medical center. It is planned to determine the full composition of the institution by the end of February 2024. Then there will be an audit of the need for medical services, Vinogradov added.
These should be high-quality services, a center comfortable for visitors, experienced specialists, - he stressed.[1] |
