2024: Founding of Promsvyazbank
On November 1, 2024, Promsvyazbank (PSB) announced the creation of a subsidiary of PSB-Nasha Zemlya, which will form a land fund for the implementation of a housing construction program for employees of military-industrial enterprises and participants in the state defense order.
According to RIA Novosti, the new structure will be engaged in the selection of land plots for construction, including from non-core and collateral assets. Alina Atalikova, who has more than five years of experience in working with key projects of the defense industry financial recovery department in PSB, has been appointed to the post of general director of the company.
Sergey Dobrin, Senior Vice President, Director of the Financial Recovery Department of PSB Defense Industry, notes that the bank is implementing housing projects in more than 30 regions of Russia. In 2023, the structure of the construction holding was formed and a subsidiary developer was registered.
The housing construction program for employees of military-industrial enterprises was launched by PSB in 2021. As part of the initiative, residential complexes with accompanying infrastructure are being built in industrial centers, single-industry towns and satellite cities.
A feature of the program is the construction of housing in the immediate vicinity of the place of work of employees. Construction volumes are agreed with specific enterprises, and workers receive a discount of 15% to 40% of the market value of housing.
The creation of a specialized company for managing the land fund is aimed at improving the operational efficiency of the program and ensuring the transparency of the projects being implemented. This initiative is part of the bank's strategy to maintain the personnel potential of the military-industrial complex and attract highly qualified specialists.[1]
