2021: Said Gutseriev's withdrawal from the bank's capital
On October 14, 2021, it became known about Said Gutseriev's withdrawal from the capital of the Belarusian Paritetbank (Paritetbank brand). The entrepreneur sold his share to another businessman Rasim Ismailov, the credit organization said.
The change of the main owner of the bank will not affect its operating activities. Paritetbank will continue to fulfill all obligations to customers in full. All agreements concluded by customers with the bank continue to apply, their conditions remain unchanged, the bank's press service said. |
The representative of Said Gutseriev said that negotiations with potential buyers lasted several months. It is alleged that Ismailov offered the most attractive conditions. The financial component of the transaction is not reported.

According to the agency, Rasim Ismailov is an entrepreneur and manager who has experience working with projects in the retail financial industry - insurance, the banking industry, microfinance. He is one of the founders of SRO MiR, as well as one of the founders of the microcredit organization Money for Hire.
In August 2021, it became known that Said Gutseriev also sold his shares in three Belarusian crypto exchanges - Currency.com, Capital.com and Zubr.io. The buyers were the international crypto exchange FTX and Gutseriev's partner, Belarusian businessman Viktor Prokopenya.[1][2]
2020: Gutseriev bought Paritetbank
At the end of May 2020, it became known that Paritetbank was sold to entrepreneur Said Gutseriev (son of the main owner of the Safmar group, billionaire Mikhail Gutseriev) for $50 million. The equity capital of the Belarusian state bank in the transfer to dollars is about 10% more than this amount.
Under the terms of the agreement, the Cyprus company Beristore Holdings becomes the owner of 99.83% of Paritetbank's shares, the main beneficiary of which is Said Gutseriev.
According to the State Property Committee (GCI) of Belarus, the state aims to reduce its share in the banking sector by selling shares to strategic investors. Equal rights of foreign and national investors to participate in the privatization of state property, including state banks, equal conditions for the organization and conduct of business are enshrined in the country's legislation.
The ministry also emphasized that Said Gutseriev is already a co-owner of the crypto exchange registered in Belarus Currency.com. The main Belarusian asset of Gutseriev Sr . is the Slavkali company.
Valery Petrov, vice president of the Russian Association of Crypto Industry and Blockchain (RAKIB), believes that the purchase of Paritetbank could be a significant impetus to development currency.com. In this case, the exchange will receive the financial support it needs and increase confidence from potential customers, since the bank may act as a guarantor for a number of operations conducted by the exchange, he believes.
As of January 1, 2020, the assets of Paritetbank were estimated at 482.092 million Belarusian rubles, according to this indicator, the bank ranked 15th in the ranking of Belarusian banks.[3]
2018: Transfer of ownership to the State Property Committee
Until 2018, the bank belonged to the administration of the President of Belarus, after which it was transferred to the State Property Committee.
