2024: Dota 2 International Tournament Win

On December 15, 2024, Russian e-sportsmen from the Parivision team won the ESL One Bangkok 2024 Dota 2 international tournament - a multiplayer computer game in the MOBA genre. The cash prize amounted to $300 thousand.

ESL One Bangkok 2024 is the second tournament of the third season of the ESL Pro Tour, held from December 9 to 15 at the Royal Paragon Hall in Bangkok. This is the largest Dota 2 tournament ever held in Thailand. The total prize pool reached $1 million and 20,940 EPT points.

Russian e-sportsmen won the international Dota 2 tournament in Bangkok

In the Dota 2 final in Bangkok, the Russian Parivision team opposed Team Liquid e-sportsmen from Sweden. Parivision included Russians Dmitry DM Dorokhin, Edgar 9Class Naltakyan, Andrei Dukalis Kuropatkin, as well as Ukrainian Vladimir No [o] ne Minenko and Dutch representative Remko Crystallis Arets. As a result, Parivision defeated Team Liquid 3-1. In general, the results of the competition are as follows:

  • First place: Parivision (Russia) - $300 thousand and 5.28 thousand. EPT points;
  • Second place: Team Liquid (Sweden) - $175 thousand and 3.6 thousand. EPT points;
  • Third place: BetBoom Team (Russia) - $120 thousand and 3 thousand. EPT points;
  • Fourth place: Team Spirit (Russia) - $85 thousand and 2.4 thousand. EPT points;
  • 5-6 places: Team Falcons (Middle East) and Avulus (Europe) - $57.5 thousand each; 2.16 thousand and 1.68 thousand. EPT points;
  • 7th-8th places: Shopify Rebellion (North America) and Nigma Galaxy (Middle East) - $47.5 thousand and 780 EPT points;
  • 9-10 places: Boom Esports (Philippines) and Gaozu (China) - $30 thousand and 420 EPT points;
  • 11th-12th places: Natus Vincere (Ukraine) and Beastcoast (Peru) - $25 thousand and 210 EPT points.

Thus, according to the results of the ESL One Bangkok 2024 Dota 2 tournament, Russian teams received $505 thousand, that is, more than half of the total prize fund of the event.[1]
