2023: Docebo bought PeerBoard
On April 4, 2023, the Docebo digital learning platform announced an agreement to acquire the PeerBoard service, founded by Russian Mikhail Larionov.
PeerBoard is a platform for building online communities. The service, launched in 2019, allows business representatives and customers to establish communication with each other. It is possible to integrate PeerBoard with the company's website, as well as with WordPress and other systems for creating and managing web resources. The company is headquartered in Los Angeles.
The cost of the deal between Docebo and PeerBoard and other terms of the contract are not reported. But the acquisition will help Docebo expand social learning opportunities, it said. The company will be able to build PeerBoard tools into its platform by providing customers with an integrated learning environment with effective interoperability features.
When we launched PeerBoard, our goal was to enable brands and businesses to benefit from building their own communities. In just a few years, we've helped thousands of companies get there. But our dream has always been to connect as many market participants as possible with their customers. Combining the capabilities of our community with industry-leading training platform Docebo takes us one step closer to achieving this dream. We are glad to be able to continue our mission with the Docebo team, "Larionov said. |
Docebo emphasizes that the takeover of PeerBoard is another important step towards becoming a "preferred" partner in corporate learning solutions. Customers often need a system to organize their own community, and PeerBoard will solve this problem.[1]
