History

2024: Palace Opening

In November 2024, in the Bezhitsky district of Bryansk, the grand opening of the Peresvet ice palace, built under the Sport - the Norm of Life project, took place within the framework of the Demography national project. The construction and equipment of the facility cost ₽410 million, of which ₽276 million was allocated by the regional budget and ₽134 million by the federal budget.

According to TASS, the new sports complex has become part of a large-scale sports cluster located in the Bezhitsky district of the city. There is already a functioning ice palace, an athletics stadium and a football arena. The construction of the facility was carried out from 2023 to 2024.

Ice palace opened in Bryansk for ₽410 million

The 30x50 m ice arena with a rounded radius of 8.5 m is equipped with modern boxes and stands with a capacity of 55 spectators. The sports complex is designed for both hockey training and mass skating.

The Governor of the Bryansk Region, Alexander Bogomaz, noted that the opening of the new ice palace is the next stage in the implementation of the tasks set by the President of Russia to create a modern sports infrastructure for the younger generation. The opening ceremony was attended by State Duma deputies Sergei Neverov and Oleg Matytsin, the leadership of the region and representatives of the sports community. After the official part, a friendly match was held with the participation of guests of honor, including Governor Alexander Bogomaz, State Duma deputies and pupils of Bryansk hockey schools.[1]
