2020: ABBYY purchased Pericom

On October 7, 2020 ABBYY announced Pericom Singapore acquisition. The cost of the transaction and other its conditions does not reveal.

ABBYY purchased software developer for document flow

As reported in the press release, Pericom — the long-term partner of ABBYY in the Pacific Rim. Thanks to merger of the Singapore company ABBYY expects to strengthen positions in the region where the company has two offices of the company (in Japan and Hong Kong) and extensive network of partners.

With Pericom acquisition ABBYY company it intends to develop the new and existing relations with global players in the Pacific Rim, such as Daimler Financial Services, Panasonic, Mizuho Bank, Adnavem Asia, etc., the vice president of ABBYY for emerging markets Elena Pospelova noted.

The CEO of Pericom Group and the president of AIIM association in the Southern Asia emphasized that ABBYY always played an important role in Pericom development, helping clients to solve problems of information processing and increase in efficiency of business processes on the way to digital transformation.^[1]
