2024: Raising 1 million euros from the Belarusian fund Zubr Capital

In early September 2024, the Cypriot technology startup Placy announced the raising of funding in the amount of €1 million. The funds were provided by the Belarusian fund Zubr Capital, which specializes in investments in various sectors of the economy, including telecommunications, information technology, banking and financial sectors, innovative products.

PropTech service Placy was launched in 2023 by the former executive director of Cian.ru Mikhail Vasiliev. The startup has developed a platform to make it easier to communicate between real estate agency customers and sellers. The tool based on artificial intelligence allows you to automate the valuation of real estate, the formation of a schedule for viewing objects and the preparation of agreements. Placy takes on time-consuming tasks, reducing the burden on employees.

It says that over the years, real estate transactions have involved a large number of stages requiring various operations to ensure informed decisions are made. Placy aims to improve this process by benefiting all market participants - from individual sellers to large real estate agencies. Vasiliev emphasizes the importance of automation of real estate processes to maintain competitiveness.

Placy will use the funds raised to further develop the Placy Pro product, a SaaS (software as a service) tool for the B2B segment. In addition, improvements to Placy's core features are planned to ensure closer integration with third-party platforms such as WhatsApp and Telegram (for landlords, sellers and buyers). The money will also go towards the development of the Placy Assistant system, a B2C tool that makes it easier to communicate between buyers and sellers of real estate.[1]
