Prikarpatyeoblenergo

PJSC Prikarpatyeoblenergo is the company which performs transfer and electrical supply to consumers in the territory of the Ivano-Frankivsk region.

History

In Stanislavov (Ivano-Frankivsk) the construction of city power plant began spring of 1928. It was the first step to creation of the predecessor of PJSC Prikarpatyeoblenergo - the regional electrosupplying company.

On August 16, 1930 the Stanislavsky power plant for the first time issued industrial current and began to work steadily. The power plant was diesel and had the total power of 1008 kW. After a while, even prior to war, its power grew to 3008 kW due to establishment of steam turbines.

Until the end of 1931 the number of consumers of Stanislavsky power plant reached 4000. Development of power industry in the area was stopped ІІ by World war. The German military dismantled and took out about 70% of the equipment of Stanislavsky power plant to Germany. During conducting fighting it was damaged hundreds of kilometers of cable transmission lines.

After war reconstruction and construction of new objects were carried out. Increase of power of Stanislavsky power plant at the beginning of the 60th became result of intensive reorganization fivefold in comparison with pre-war.

In 1973 the power plant ceased to exist as the independent enterprise. It was attached as workshop to the Ivano-Frankivsk enterprise of the electric networks. In five years, in 1978 these two structures integrated with the regional enterprise of rural power supply networks, having received the name – the regional enterprise of the electric networks. With such name the enterprise existed till 1995.

Further, according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine the enterprise was korporatizirovano and began to work with the new name – the Prikarpatyeoblenergo state joint-stock electrosupplying company (SJSEC).

In two years, according to the state plan of privatization of objects of power, privatization of the company began and in September, 1998 at the constituent assembly the PJSC Prikarpatyeoblenergo open joint stock company was created.

In 2001 in the company development of the new corporate style, a logo and a corporate color gamma is complete.

In August, 2002 near office of the enterprise it was consecrated the small chapel "Covers of the Mother of God" built on donations of workers and company management.

In 2002 it is also founded National football club "Uragan" and the soccer team from five-a-side with the same name.

This year according to the decision of the Supervisory Board Alexander Buben is appointed to a position of the chairman of the board of PJSC Prikarpatyeoblenergo.

In 2005 workers developed the mission of the company.

Today PJSC Prikarpatyeoblenergo is included in the top ten regional power Ukraine by calculations with Power market, indicators of creditor receivables decrease every year. The company is profitable, it constantly develops and cares for wellbeing of the consumers and employees.
