2021: Organization of small-sized tool production

The company "PromArsenal" organized Chelyabinsk the production of small-sized tools for various industries. industries The total investment in the creation of the workshop amounted to 174 million, rubles of which 80 million rubles in the form of a preferential loan under the Machine Tool program was provided. This Industrial Development Fund was announced by the Fund on November 17, 2021.

At the created capacities, the production of drills, cutters and drills under the Promatool brand with diameters from 0.1 mm and standard sizes up to 26 mm has begun. Production capacity will be 25 thousand units per year. The small-sized tool is used for high-precision processing operations in the aviation, space and engineering industries, as well as in the manufacture of chip components, in instrument making and in medicine.

As of November 2021, according to the company, in Russia there is no mass production of a similar small-sized hard alloy tool for a large number of enterprises. Domestic demand is fully covered by supplies from abroad, mainly from Israel, Japan, China and Germany.

The company "PromArsenal" intends to replace up to 7% of imports in the future of the first two years of serial production and up to 20% within five years. Customers of the products will be enterprises of the corporations Roscosmos, Rostec, Rosatom, UEC groups, Transneft, as well as medium-sized enterprises.

The loan went to the purchase of equipment: a grinding and grinding processing center with CNC, a universal machine for processing cylindrical surfaces, a round grinding machine, an installation for processing edges and polishing.

The project created 11 additional jobs, of which 6 are high-performance.
