Promenergobank

JSC Promenergobank — one of banks of the northwest region of Russia. The activity of Bank was aimed at the development of productive forces of the country, at support of the enterprises of the major industries: power, construction, food and also transport and trade.

The main partners and clients of Bank were the energy companies, the enterprises of a machine-building complex, telecommunication companies, foreign trade associations, trade intermediary firms, insurance companies, financial institutions, structures of regional and municipal authority.

In 2013 the RAEX Rating agency improved credit rating of Promenergobank (JSC) to level A "The high level of solvency", the forecast for rating Stable. The rating is confirmed in September, 2014.

In March, 2013 at the expense of Bank restoration and adaptation of an object of cultural heritage of regional value "Volkov' House, the 1st Quarter of the 19th Century" to which the Cherepovets branch of Promenergobank moved was complete.

In August, 2016 the Bank of Russia deprived of the license of JSC Promenergobank taking the 364th place in a banking system of Russia its management as specifies the regulator, pursued the high risk credit policy connected with placement of money in low-quality assets. Besides, in connection with loss of liquidity the credit institution allowed cases of untimely obligation fulfillment before creditors.
