2025: Launch of ₽500 million fund to invest in IT startups
R-Vision launched the R-Vision VC corporate venture fund with a capital of ₽500 million to invest in technology startups. The cybersecurity solutions company announced the foundation on February 19, 2025.
The fund will focus on projects in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data analysis and enterprise software, R-Vision's press service said.
Igor Smetanev, Managing Partner of R-Vision VC, noted that the fund creates an environment for transforming technologies into businesses by investing in teams that solve real problems and develop the industry.
The R-Vision VC Foundation will focus on several key areas:
- Financing start-ups in the early stages of development.
- Support product promotion and channel development.
- Help scale innovative solutions.
- Assist startups in integrating their developments into the ecosystem of large companies.
- Interaction with educational institutions to find and train personnel.
Startups will have access to R-Vision industry expertise, company infrastructure and pilot implementation capabilities in large organizations. Founded in 2011, R-Vision intends to use its experience scaling the business to support new market players.
The foundation also plans to work with universities to support student projects and participate in acceleration programs. This will create an ecosystem for the development of technological entrepreneurship in Russia.
R-Vision technologies are used in government agencies, the financial sector, the telecommunications industry, as well as in the oil and gas, energy and metallurgical industries of Russia and the CIS countries.
