2021: Creation of an investment and development bureau for the development of IT projects
In early April 2021, it became known about the creation of the RAMT investment and design bureau by former top managers of RamblerRafael Abrahamyan and Maxim Tadevosyan. This project will focus on the development of digital technologies for companies from the real sector of the economy, whose business is concentrated in the offline segment.
We are talking about developing a strategy and business plans, launching and bringing new digital projects to targets, as well as increasing the operational efficiency of existing ones, Tadevosyan told Vedomosti.
In the first year of work in the bureau there will be up to 10 people. Partners invested their own funds in this project, but their size is not specified.
While everyone is fast going online, we are going offline... The advantage for partners is that we share risks and are also responsible for our business together, going through all stages - from calculating the business model, design, creation and commercial launch, "Maxim Tadevosyan wrote on his Facebook page. |
The startup will work according to the so-called sweat equity model - when investments are not financial, but in the form of competencies. The bureau is interested in projects, the assessment of which in the future of three years can reach $100 million, write Vedomosti.
At the same time, the company will be included in such projects as a managing partner in exchange for a share in the capital of 15-25% based on its future sale. According to the publication, by the beginning of April 2021, RAMT already has a pool of four projects in the fields of heavy industry, entertainment and retail. Two of them have already entered into contracts. Two more companies are discussing the terms of cooperation. According to Tadevosyan, if the bureau receives several successful projects, the model will expand beyond the country, in particular, to Asia and the Middle East.
Absolutely confident in the quality and high competitive ability of Russian technological digital thought, "concluded Tadevosyan.[1][2] |
