For the tenth year in a row, Real Madrid topped the ranking of the richest football clubs, which is compiled annually by the consulting company Deloitte. According to the company's financial statements, for the 2013/14 season, Madrid earned 549.5 million euros.
The Royal Club has earned:
- 113.8 million euros for the sale of tickets for home matches,
- 204.2 million euros - on television broadcasts of the team's games (15.9 million more than last season) and
- 231.6 million euros - in sports marketing (20 million more than last season)[1].
Among the Spanish teams, the top twenty richest clubs in the world also included Barcelona (4th place, 484.6 million euros) and Atletico (15th place, 169.9 million euros).
