2023: Criminal case on the supply of fake means of protection of doctors for 22 million rubles

The FSB and the prosecutor's office in Khakassia found fake personal protective equipment in the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital. This was reported in the press service of the regional FSB at the end of November 2023.

Employees of the department, together with the prosecutor's office, checked the targeted spending of budget funds allocated at the end of 2021 as part of the federal program to combat COVID-19. During these events, falsified personal protective equipment delivered to the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital was found. The cost of sold fake medical products produced by RealService LLC exceeded 22 million rubles. The press service of the FSB clarified to TASS that we are talking about medical gowns.

Investigators opened a criminal case under the article "Circulation of falsified, poor-quality and unregistered medicines, medical devices and circulation of falsified biologically active additives."

In addition, a criminal case on fraud was initiated against one of the founders of RealService LLC in November 2023 upon the delivery of similar poor-quality medical products to Perm in the amount of 116.1 million rubles. He was placed in a pre-trial detention center, according to the FSB of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Khakassia. According to investigators, he delivered more than 1.1 million fake disposable medical gowns to medical institutions in Perm. The suspect is charged with especially large-scale fraud (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and the sale of falsified medical devices committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy (paragraph "a" of part 2 of article 238.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

According to the SPARK-Interfax system, RealService LLC is registered in Ulyanovsk in 2020. By November 2023, the legal entity in equal shares belongs to Sofya Polyakova, Olga Ralla, Evgeny Skitovich and Renat Yambaev.^[1]
