2022: Opening of the centre
In mid-December 2022, it became known about the creation of the Center for Mobile Teams to organize exit and remote medical care for residents of the Arctic zone.
{{quote 'This model is based on a combination of telemedicine and the field work of specialist doctors. In addition, continuous dispensary monitoring of the health status of Arctic residents will be organized. The key task is for people in the Arctic regions to receive the help of doctors, narrow specialists not only in emergency cases, but on an ongoing, systemic basis, - said the head of the republic Aysen Nikolaev in his annual message to the State Assembly (quoted by the Yakutskoye-Sakha news agency). }}
The Republican Center for Mobile Teams is being created on the basis of the Republican Center for Public Health of Medical Prevention. As noted by Fedot Tumusov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection, the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy supported a pilot project to create a regional center for mobile teams to organize field and remote medical care for residents of the Arctic zone. 1.6 billion rubles will be allocated for the implementation of the project from the budgets of the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund and the republican one, he said.
The pilot project of the Arctic model of medical care is based on the idea of organizing planned visits of doctors and new forms of specialized medical care with the involvement of modern telemedicine technologies. The initial admission of the patient at the visit will be face-to-face. Further consultations will be carried out remotely. It is assumed that doctors will visit one settlement four times a year. Thus, within the framework of the project, residents of Arctic regions will have access to consultations of narrow specialists, and not only in emergency cases or during field medical examinations.[1].
