2023: Building a Company

At the end of April 2023, information appeared that the investment company of the billionaire brothers Igor and Dmitry Bukhmanov Rix Capital was creating the first permanent office in London.

Vologda Bukhmana residents are the founders of Playrix, one of the world's largest mobile game developers. As of early 2022, Playrix employed more than 3,000 people in 25 offices worldwide. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, the brothers have a combined fortune of approximately $11 billion. To control assets, the Rix Capital family fund was created, which manages approximately $4 billion.

According to Bloomberg, the permanent office of Rix Capital will be located in the prestigious London district of St. James. The investment company's workforce will roughly double to 10 employees. It is noted that earlier the Bukhmans were looking for a new head for Rix Capital, as well as senior investment and legal officers.

Rix Capital is among the world's largest family offices - loosely regulated investment companies. Rix typically distributes capital into asset classes, including private equity, hedge funds and fixed income instruments. The firm is expected to complete the move to its new London headquarters within 2023.

Rix Capital was created in late 2021 by Playrix executives, according to regulatory filings. It is also noted that the Bukhmans are the majority shareholders of Playrix and have never raised external funds to finance their organization. In 2013, Playrix's headquarters were moved to Ireland. In October 2022, the company announced the termination of commercial activities in Russia and Belarus due to the current geopolitical situation.^[1]
