2023: Construction of a drone production plant in Rostov-on-Don for 0.5 billion rubles

At the end of November 2023, the Governor of the Rostov Region Vasily Golubev spoke about the construction of an unmanned aerial vehicle production plant in the region. This is a project of the Crimean company Roboavia. According to Golubev, the company plans to produce up to 1.1 thousand aircraft-type UAVs per year. the volume of investments in production will be about 500 million rubles.

The construction of the enterprise began. The project implementation period and access to design capacity is the end of 2024, - said the head of the Rostov region in an interview with Interfax-South and the North Caucasus.

UAV "Sarych" from "Roboavia"

According to the SPARK-Interfax system, Roboavia LLC was registered in Simferopol in 2015. The company is engaged in the production of helicopters, aircraft and other aircraft. Roman Gurov was indicated as the general director by the end of November 2023, Lyudmila Gurova was the beneficiary.

At the end of August 2023, the head of the Moscow representative office of Roboavia, Valentin Kiselev, told RIA Novosti that the company was financially supported by the Crimean government, which purchased drones for its sponsored units.

Among the promising developments of "Roboavia" Kiselev named the reconnaissance drone "Sarych-2" and the attack drone "Surprise." The latter is made in the form of a quadcopter, which can be folded and transferred in a backpack.

Sarych-2 was created according to the flying wing scheme. The drone was tested in the Black Sea Fleet. The device is equipped with an electric motor, its take-off weight is 14 kg, wingspan is 3.1 meters, maximum flight altitude is 5 km, speed is up to 108 km/h.^[1]
