History
2024
Presented a Russian industrial robot working with welding machines
Chelyabinsk enterprise LLC "Robot Plant" presented a new modification of an industrial robotic system with a carrying capacity of 120 kg with the functionality of welding operations. The presentation of the development took place in Chelyabinsk on November 7, 2024. The company is the only Russian manufacturer of such automated serial production complexes.
The production complex is located on the territory of 11.5 thousand square meters, where three modifications of automated manipulators with lifting capacity indicators of 30, 60 and 120 kg are manufactured. The design bureau of the enterprise has created technical solutions using mainly domestic component base and proprietary software.
Alexander Gorkusha, General Director of Robot Plant LLC, noted the innovativeness of the presented model, the demonstration of which is being held for the first time for a mass audience. The head emphasized the versatility of the use of the automated complex in various industrial sectors - from the agricultural sector to the machine-building industry.
Automated manipulators of Chelyabinsk production are used in machining workshops and assembly conveyors. Technical characteristics make it possible to ensure uninterrupted operation from 36 to 72 hours under variable load modes. The 2024 production program provides for the production of 450 pieces of equipment with an increase in volumes to 600-1000 complexes by 2025.
The company's development strategy includes achieving productivity in 2,000 automated systems annually and launching the manufacture of gearboxes of its own design by 2026. The production site is being transformed into a fully automated complex. The principal position of the developers was the refusal to copy foreign samples in favor of creating original engineering solutions.[2]
Launch of serial production of robots
In September 2024, the Robot Plant, created on the basis of the Chelyabinsk Forge and Press Plant (ChKPZ), announced the launch of mass production of industrial robots. For this enterprise, the Ural Bank of Sberbank was attracted to cooperation.
Earlier, the Robot Plant manufactured six units of production and 12 prototypes of six-axis universal industrial robots. As part of mass production, it is planned to produce about 1 thousand robots per year.
Under the terms of the agreement with Sber, technological solutions of the Sber Robotics Center will be introduced at the Robot Plant, which will allow using artificial intelligence components to adjust and maintain the robots produced. It is also planned to automate the operation of the production warehouse using SberShuttle solutions.
"Robot Plant" is the most important enterprise for the region and the country that specializes in the serial production and assembly of industrial robotic manipulators, - comments the vice-president of Sberbank - chairman of the Ural Bank Pyotr Koltypin. - To remain a leader and move the industry forward, you must always be one step ahead of everyone and create your own unique technologies. Sberbank has extensive experience in the field of digitalization and implementation of developments based on artificial intelligence and is ready to provide our partners with all the necessary solutions. I am sure that with the cooperation of leading plant engineers and Sberbank experts, we will be able to create a unique product that will give a positive effect for the entire industry. |
